Acer (Maple)

The Genus Acer is the largest group of deciduous trees and encompasses a vast range of shapes, sizes, colours and forms. From small weepers through to small, medium and large shade and autumn colouring trees, the options they offer for garden design are almost limitless.

Acer's are beautiful all year around:

Spring: buds bloom, leaves expand and become a range of vibrant colours.

Summer: leaves turn a deep burgundy shade or a wide range of greens and bronzes.

Autumn: lots of varieties will display stunning autumn colours – brilliant reds, oranges and yellows.

Winter: looses it's leaves but becomes it own sculptural feature
